On Thursday morning, January 30th, emergency responders were called to a water emergency at the River Crest Country Club, located in the 1500 block of Western Ave. in West Fort Worth, at approximately 8:06 AM.
Upon arrival, Fort Worth Fire, Police, and Medstar EMS discovered a vehicle submerged in a pond on the golf course. A dive team from the Fort Worth Fire Department successfully recovered the body of an elderly man from the scene. His identity has not been released at this time.
The incident is currently under investigation.
