Pedro Everastico Munoz, 51, was arrested Tuesday, June 17, after Irving Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 600 block of Roberts Ave. Munoz, who had allegedly assaulted a family member, was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Violence Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Further investigation revealed Munoz had an active warrant for his arrest from Denton County for Indecent Child Contact or Exposure, with bond set at $10,000.
Additionally, authorities determined that Munoz was illegally in the country. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hold was requested by INS-Dallas/Fort Worth. Munoz is expected to face charges in Denton County before being deported.
