A woman arrested in Irving last year has been sentenced to five years in state prison after accepting a plea agreement in a Dallas County courtroom.
Eunsook Kang, 47, originally from Korea, was arrested on March 5, 2024, and charged with Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 under 200 grams, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
On March 20, 2024, Kang pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal offered by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. In exchange, the drug-related charges were dropped. She was convicted on the remaining charges of Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution and Engaging in Organized Crime.
Kang is currently serving her sentence at the Plane Unit, a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) facility located in Dayton, Liberty County.
