The City of Irving is offering residents a free opportunity to safely dispose of home chemicals at its next Home Chemical Collection event, set for Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at the City of Irving Purchasing Building, located at 835 W. Irving Blvd.
Residents can dispose of a variety of items, including:
- Aerosol sprays
- Automotive fluids and oil filters
- Batteries
- Household cleaners and polishes
- Lawn and garden chemicals
- Paint and home repair products
- Pool chemicals
- Fluorescent light tubes
- Computers and cellphones
- Craft and hobby supplies
To participate, residents must obtain a voucher by visiting CityofIrving.org/HHW. A limited number of vouchers are available for each event.
