On Saturday, April 13, 2024, Irving Police Officers responded to a disturbance call. Upon arrival, they encountered 36-year-old Emmanuel Vincent Santoni of Carrollton, who was intoxicated and confrontational.
A struggle ensued as officers tried to arrest Santoni, during which he attempted to take their weapons. Officers used physical force to restrain him and successfully took him into custody.
Santoni has been charged with two counts of Attempt to Take Weapon from an Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Public Intoxication. He was booked into the Irving Jail at 5:23 pm and is awaiting bond determination while in custody.
