Early Saturday morning, April 20th at 2:45 am, Irving Police officers engaged in a pursuit after witnessing a traffic violation involving a black Chevy Impala on Irving Blvd.
The driver initially evaded officers, prompting a call for backup. Ultimately, the vehicle halted at the intersection of E. Irving Blvd. and S. Nursery Rd. Attempting to flee on foot, the male driver was swiftly apprehended.
Both occupants, identified as 20-year-old Victor Hugo Espinoza-Nava from Dallas and 18-year-old Nanci Galvan from Arlington, face charges related to evasion and narcotics.
Espinoza-Nava is charged with Evading Arrest Detention with a Vehicle, Evading Arrest Detention (foot pursuit), and Possession of Marijuana, with a bond set at $24,500. Galvan was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
