In Farmersville today, authorities responded to a serious accident involving a pedestrian on County Road 615. Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, who reported the incident, disclosed that the victim was his father. He has been taken into custody pending further investigation.
Further information is being withheld as the investigation continues, according to the Collin County Sheriff's Office.
