Fort Worth Police responded to a shooting incident on Saturday, March 2, 2024, around 10:15 pm, at the 2900 block of Crockett Street in the West 7th St area. According to preliminary findings, an altercation resulted in one person being shot multiple times.
Efforts were made by officers and medical personnel to revive the victim, but unfortunately, the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The suspect had fled before the arrival of law enforcement.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation of this tragic incident.
UPDATE: On Monday, March 4, 2024, the suspect in the Crockett St. shooting turned himself in. He is identified as Karlove Palmer, 29, booked on a charge of Murder at the Tarrant County Jail.
