Lancaster, Texas - A 17-year-old girl was shot early Saturday morning while attending a private get-together at a home in the 900 block of Randlett Street in Lancaster, according to police. Lancaster Police Department officers were called to the residence around 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 31, 2026, after reports of gunfire.
Investigators say the teen suffered a gunshot wound during the gathering and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Her injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
The Lancaster Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division has taken over the case and is working to determine what led to the shooting. Authorities say there is no indication the public is at risk, though no arrests have been announced.
