IRVING, TX — In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October, the Irving Family Advocacy Center (IFAC) will host the ninth annual Illuminate Irving event, transitioning this year from an evening gathering to a public art exhibit.
The event, in collaboration with the Irving Independent School District (IISD) Art Department, provides high school students across the district the opportunity to submit original artwork based on this year’s theme: “With Survivors, Always.” The theme emphasizes the importance of partnering with survivors to achieve safety, hope, and support.
The exhibit aims to raise awareness about domestic violence, highlight the services offered by IFAC, and showcase the work of local domestic violence agencies.
