DART Offering Enhanced Service for 2025 Texas-OU Game at Cotton Bowl

DALLAS — Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is gearing up to help fans avoid traffic and get straight to the action for the annual Texas vs. Oklahoma football game at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday, October 11.

“Texas/OU at the Cotton Bowl is one of North Texas’ biggest traditions and DART is proud to be part of the experience,” said Trenise Winters, DART Chief Operations Officer. “Our goal is to provide fans with safe, reliable, and convenient transportation so they can enjoy the game and leave the driving to us.”

Beginning at 9 a.m. on game day, DART will run special shuttle buses every 30 minutes from Victory Station, Mockingbird Station, Bachman Station, CityLine/Bush Station, and Trinity Mills Station. Extra staff will be on hand at each location to help riders board the correct bus.

Shuttles will drop fans off inside Fair Park at Lot 8, just steps from the Midway Gate. Color-coded wristbands and marked flags will guide fans back to the right bus after the game. Return shuttles will run for up to two hours after the final whistle.

Other service details include:

  • DART Green Line: Trains every 15 minutes on game day, with extra service added.

  • TRE Rail: Increased frequency to every 30 minutes for two hours after the game.

  • Tickets & Payment: Riders are encouraged to purchase and activate passes ahead of time using the GoPass app. Cash is discouraged at shuttle stations.

Fans are urged to arrive early to avoid crowds, keep wristbands visible for quick boarding, and follow staff directions for the smoothest experience.
