Irving, TX – On Sunday morning, September 7, 2025, Irving Police received a 911 call about a drunk man causing a disturbance. When officers arrived, the man fled on foot, prompting a short pursuit.
Officers caught up and tackled the suspect, who resisted before being placed in handcuffs. At first, he refused to identify himself, but police later confirmed him to be 35-year-old Bruce Clemons of Mesquite.
Clemons was booked into the Irving Jail at 11:09 a.m. on the following charges:
- Public Intoxication

Fail to Identify as a Fugitive
Police also confirmed Clemons had three active warrants out of Farmers Branch Police.
