Woman Arrested in Irving Undercover Prostitution Sting at South Irving Walgreens

Evelyn Ocasio

IRVING, Texas — A woman was arrested on a prostitution charge following an undercover operation conducted by the Irving Police Department in South Irving, according to authorities.

On June 9, 2026, an undercover Irving police officer was conducting surveillance in the parking lot of a Walgreens near W. Shady Grove Road and S. MacArthur Blvd after police received a 911 call reporting a woman approaching people and offering sexual services in exchange for money.

According to police, the undercover officer observed a woman in the parking lot who matched the description provided by the caller.

According to the arrest affidavit, the officer exited his vehicle and made casual contact with the woman as they passed one another. Investigators said the woman then asked the officer if he wanted to "hang out," which led to a conversation in which sexual services were negotiated for $20.

Police said the woman agreed to the arrangement.

The officer then asked whether she had a vehicle nearby. When she indicated that she did not, he directed her toward a nearby building adjacent to the Walgreens, where the agreed-upon act was to take place inside his vehicle.

Before any sexual act occurred, officers arrested the woman in the nearby Taco Bell parking lot.

The suspect was identified as 34-year-old Evelyn Ocasio.

She was booked into the Irving Jail and charged with Prostitution.

Ocasio had been residing in Haltom City and previously lived in Fort Worth. Court records indicate she has a prior conviction in Tarrant County for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
