RICHARDSON, Texas - Richardson Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the area of S. Coit Road and W. Spring Valley Road.
One individual was transported to a local hospital; their condition is unknown at this time. Officers, detectives, and crime scene personnel remain on location actively conducting the investigation.
At this time, one suspect is believed to be involved and has not yet been located.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
A portion of the intersection will be closed for the investigation, motorist are advised to seek an alternate route.
