Man Receives 40-Year Sentence for Sexual Exploitation of Children in Johnson County

JOHNSON/SOMERVELL COUNTIES, Texas - The Johnson and Somervell County District Attorney's Office announced that Tristan Michael Haun, 39, pleaded guilty to eight separate counts of offenses involving the sexual exploitation of children.

Haun was sentenced to 40 years in prison on multiple counts related to the possession and promotion of child sexual exploitation materials.

The offenses were discovered through information provided to local law enforcement partners who are members of the Regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.  DPS troopers and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office made the arrest after an investigation.

The District Attorney’s Office affirmed its commitment to protecting all children and commended the dedicated officers and prosecutors involved in the case. Assistant District Attorneys Connor Day and Stephanie Miller prosecuted the case.
