Fort Worth Man Receives Life Without Parole For Sexually Abusing Young Child

TARRANT COUNTY, Texas - A Tarrant County jury found Moises De Paz Robles, 57, guilty of the Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child Under the Age of 14 and sentenced him to Life in prison without the possibility of parole on Wednesday, November 5th.

The conviction stemmed from an investigation initiated in November 2024, when a 12-year-old girl told her school counselor that De Paz Robles, a relative, had been sexually assaulting her for years. The abuse began when the victim was approximately 5 years old.

The Tarrant County District Attorney's Office credited the work of the Fort Worth Police Department for their commitment to the case.

Case prosecutors were Katherine Messina and Victoria Lydahl. The DA investigator was Clint Leach and Victim Coordinator was Laura Medina.
