DENTON COUNTY, Texas—A Denton County jury has sentenced Ronald William White, 47, to Life in Prison Without Parole for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child. The jury also assessed a $$10,000$ fine.
The verdict and maximum sentence were handed down on October 13, 2025, following a trial for the 2020 abuse. The case stemmed from an affidavit detailing that a preschool-aged child, who is related to White, disclosed the abuse to another adult.
Jury Considers Pattern of Assault
Although White was only tried for the continuous sexual abuse of a young child, the jury was allowed to consider extensive evidence of other accusations during the sentencing phase, revealing a pattern of alleged predatory behavior involving multiple victims:
-
Second Child Victim: White is also indicted on three counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact involving a different child.
-
Two Adult Sexual Assaults: White is indicted on two counts of Sexual Assault involving two women.
-
2022 Attack: A then-23-year-old woman reported that White drugged and sexually assaulted her after meeting at a bar in Lewisville in March 2022. Forensic evidence from her medical examination showed male DNA that matched a sample collected during White’s previous arrest.
-
Assault While on Bond: While out on bond for the initial charges, White allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted a woman he was dating in late 2022. She reported the incident after her own child reported that White had sexually assaulted her in March 2023.
-
Given the sentence of life without parole, Denton County’s First Assistant District Attorney Jamie Beck indicated that it is likely at least one of the pending adult sexual assault cases will be disposed of.
The case was investigated by the Lewisville Police Department. Assistant District Attorneys Ali Horton and Rachel Hodges presented the State's case, with support from the Children's Advocacy Center for North Texas.
