FORT WORTH, TX – Fort Worth Police announced a major drug bust this week, reporting the seizure of large quantities of narcotics, cash, and firearms during operations across five locations in the city.
According to the department, officers recovered 17 pounds of marijuana, 41 grams of methamphetamine, 321 grams of cocaine, 29 grams of heroin, 15 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of fentanyl, and 627 grams of ecstasy. In addition to the drugs, police seized $24,336 in cash and five firearms.
The operations were carried out by FWPD SWAT, South Division Patrol, and East Division Patrol units.
In a statement, the department credited its officers for their continued efforts to reduce violent crime and remove illegal drugs from Fort Worth neighborhoods, calling the seizures a reflection of “your police force at work.”
