Fort Worth, TX – A Tarrant County jury has convicted 41-year-old Lorenzo Rasha Lewis of possession of a controlled substance (4–200 grams) and sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
The case stems from an arrest on April 14, 2024, when Fort Worth Police officers located and detained Lewis on an outstanding fugitive warrant from Louisiana. During the arrest, officers discovered a bag of cocaine and a handgun in his possession.
Following a short trial, jurors found Lewis guilty. Prosecutors Jack Darby and Michael Ferry with the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office handled the case.
