On Sunday, January 26th, at approximately 1:36 p.m., Fort Worth Police, Fire, and MedStar EMS responded to a major accident on the southbound I35W service road near the North Loop 820 interchange. Emergency responders arrived to find a pickup truck against a wall with significant damage. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Minutes before the fatal crash, police received reports of a hit-and-run involving a pickup truck matching the description of the vehicle found at the scene. Investigators are working to confirm if the incidents are related.
