At approximately 4:13 PM on Tuesday, July 23, multiple emergency responders were dispatched to a major accident along Highway 67 near County Road 317, between Glen Rose and Cleburne. A preliminary investigation of the scene revealed that the driver of an eastbound SUV drifted into the westbound lanes and struck a second SUV head-on. The crash resulted in the deaths of all individuals involved.
The driver of the eastbound SUV has been identified as a 37-year-old man from Glen Rose. The driver and passenger of the westbound SUV have been identified as a 68-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman from Godley.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
