At approximately 3:21 a.m. on Sunday, July 14th, Flower Mound Police and Fire Department responded to a reported wreck in the 3300 block of Flower Mound Road. The 9-1-1 caller stated a single motorcycle rider was discovered unresponsive next to his motorcycle in the unfinished portion of the roadway under construction.
Medics arrived and declared the subject deceased on scene. He has been identified as 47-year-old Mac Schardein of Celina.
FMPD Traffic Unit responded to the scene and the accident is still under investigation.
