On April 8, 2023 at about 1:00 AM, a Dallas Police Officer was injured while working a vehicle accident at S. Walton Walker Blvd. and Keeneland Pkwy.
The preliminary investigation determined a vehicle came through the flare line at the scene and the officer jumped over a railing to avoid being hit. The officer was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for a broken leg.
The driver did not stay at the scene. The vehicle has been located. Dallas Police are still working to identify the involved driver.
