On December 30, 2023, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident reported in the 440 block of S. St. Augustine Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Juvenal Antero suffering from gunshot wounds inside an apartment at the location.
Initial investigations revealed that two assailants forcibly entered the apartment and shot Antero before fleeing the scene.
Emergency services, including the Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR), were dispatched to the scene. Antero was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
