On Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at 12:33am, FWFD, FWPD and Medstar EMS units were dispatched to Northeast Loop 820 and Mark IV Parkway for a major accident.
A woman was driving eastbound on Loop 820, lost control of vehicle and hit the concrete barrier. It is believed that when she got out to possibly assess the damage, another vehicle collided with the her vehicle, causing it to hit her.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Traffic investigation unit will be handling the investigation.
