On December 21, 2023, two individuals were arrested in separate incidents in Irving.
At 4:21 pm, 36-year-old Carmen Carolina Calvete-Pasada was booked into the Irving Jail, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon related to domestic violence. Her bond has been set at $5,000. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested an immigration hold due to her undocumented status in the U.S.
Later that day, at 9:23 pm, 26-year-old Jose Ismael Hernandez-Sanchez was arrested for possession of fentanyl and booked into jail. His bond for the possession of a controlled substance was set at $1,500. Similar to Calvete-Pasada, the ICE has requested an immigration hold for Hernandez-Sanchez due to his undocumented status in the country.
