Coppell residents will notice a slight uptick in their monthly utility bills come January 1, 2024. The City's contractual agreement with Republic Services dictates a three percent increase in trash and recycling fees.
For residential customers, the refuse rates will climb from $18.77 to $19.33 per month, excluding a $1.60 sales tax and a $0.10 public education fee. Those benefiting from the senior discount will experience a raise from $16.89 to $17.39 per month, along with a $1.44 sales tax and a $0.10 public education fee. Commercial utility accounts will also be subject to a three percent increase in their rates.
