The City of Carrollton, in collaboration with its partners, marked a significant milestone on Friday, December 8, with an on-site ceremony inaugurating the construction of EVIVA Trinity Mills at 2525 Blanton Drive. This five-story mixed-use structure is set to seamlessly integrate residential and retail/restaurant spaces, contributing to the dynamic and sustainable urban development at Trinity Mills Station.

Comprising over 430 multi-family units and live-work spaces, the building's construction launch ceremony featured addresses from key figures, including Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick, The Integral Group Chairman Egbert Perry, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) CEO Nadine Lee, Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) CEO Paul Cristina, Koa Partners CEO Harry Lake, and the Emcee, Integral President of Real Estate Vicki Lundy Wilbon.

Mayor Babick expressed enthusiasm about the collaborative effort between DART, Integral, KOA, and the City of Carrollton, characterizing the Trinity Mills Station project as the largest transit-oriented development in the metroplex. He acknowledged the dedication of past mayors and council members, recognizing the project as the culmination of years of effort. "This has been a long-term project and is a culmination of many years of work of prior mayors and Councilmembers, and we're looking forward to bringing this segment across the finish line," Mayor Babick said.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of representatives from OHT Partners contractors, Venture Commercial retail leasing, The Integral Group developers, and JHP Architects. Additionally, current and former Carrollton City Mayors and Councilmembers, City management, and staff attended the event, underscoring the broad support for this transformative urban development initiative.
