On Thursday, December 7, at approximately 6:00 pm, emergency responders were called to the 3500 block of Zion Hill Road, located north of Weatherford, in response to a significant accident.
According to investigators, a 29-year-old Weatherford man was operating a motorcycle heading north on Zion Hill Road. The motorcyclist signaled and decelerated to make a turn. The driver of a pickup truck following behind failed to control her speed and collided with the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, Nathan Tullis, was killed.
As a result of the incident, Zion Hill Road was temporarily closed while the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers conducted an investigation at the scene.
The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
