On December 3, 2023, Dallas Police Officers responded to the 9700 block of Royce Drive for a reporting a shooting incident at approximately 4:20 pm. Upon arrival, the officers discovered five individuals with gunshot wounds.
Three adults succumbed to their injuries at the location. Additionally, a 15-year-old female and a one-year-old boy were rushed to a local hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, the one-year-old did not survive his injuries. The teenager is currently in stable condition.
As of now, no suspect is in custody, and authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Despite the ongoing investigation, officials have stated that this appears to be an isolated event, and there is no immediate threat to the public.
