On the early morning of December 3, 2023, an Irving Police Officer observed a car driving without lights. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated. Following a brief pursuit, Irving Police units successfully apprehended the driver.
During the search, a weapon was discovered in the possession of the driver.
At 5:15 am, 17-year-old Jake Zepeda was arrested and booked into the Irving Jail, facing charges of evading arrest with a vehicle and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
