In the early hours of this morning, emergency responders from the Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the West Freeway (I30) and Chisholm Trail Parkway interchange.
According to Fort Worth police, preliminary findings suggest that a driver was traveling in the wrong direction, leading to a collision with an SUV. A man and a woman inside the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
