The holiday season in Irving is set to commence on December 2 with the much-anticipated Holidays at Heritage: Parade and Tree Lighting at Heritage Park, located at 217 S. Main St. A series of events have been lined up throughout the month of December to spread the festive cheer.
This year's highlight is the nighttime parade that will illuminate the streets of Irving's Heritage District. Following the theme "Tales of the Holidays," the parade promises to be a dazzling spectacle. The procession will culminate at Heritage Park, where attendees can revel in live music and witness a mesmerizing display of 160 drones creating 12 animations in the night sky.
The grand finale of the evening will be the lighting of the colossal 30-foot Christmas Tree. Adorned with 21,120 twinkling lights, the tree is sure to become a focal point of holiday joy for residents and visitors alike.
