On the night of October 21, 2023, Irving Police Officers arrested 22-year-old Josue Guevara, an undocumented immigrant. Guevara is facing several charges, including manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana less than or equal to 4 ounces, discharge of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2-A in an amount less than or equal to 20 units, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Due to his undocumented status in the United States, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested an immigration hold on Guevara. The case is currently under investigation.
