Irving Police arrested 30-year-old Marcos Adalberto Sanchez-Ponce on the night of October 11, 2023 (booked into Irving Jail at 12:22am on Oct 12th), on charges of three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. All four charges are felonies in the state of Texas.
Additionally, Sanchez-Ponce had an outstanding warrant from the Midland County Sheriff's Office for theft of property, with a bond amount set at $10,000.
Sanchez-Ponce is an undocumented immigrant, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested an immigration hold on him. He is currently in custody awaiting legal proceedings.
