On October 9, 2023, at around 9:30 a.m., Tarrant County Sheriff Deputies and Crime Scene units were dispatched to the 12000 block of Camp Bowie West Blvd following a startling discovery. A person stumbled upon a human skeleton behind a business establishment. The remains were found in an area not easily visible to business patrons or passing drivers, raising immediate concerns.
Upon arrival, TCSO’s Crime Scene unit and Criminal Investigators worked to collect crucial evidence from the scene. The investigation is currently underway to determine the identity and circumstances surrounding the individual's death.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has taken custody of the body. The details regarding the cause of death and the identity of the deceased will be determined by the Medical Examiner's office.
