At 1:57 am this morning, emergency responders from Dallas Fire Rescue and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene of a fatal accident on eastbound Interstate 30, near Jim Miller Road. The incident involved a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.
According to officials, the pedestrian lost their life while attempting to cross the highway. The driver of the vehicle, who was involved in the accident, remained at the scene. Authorities have confirmed that the driver will not be facing any charges related to the incident, as they cooperated with law enforcement.
The crash remains under investigation.
