Second Suspect in Series of Aggravated Robberies in Fort Worth Arrested

Robbery detectives have successfully identified the second suspect believed to be involved in a series of Aggravated Robbery offenses, two of which targeted the same 7-Eleven store located at 6301 Alta Mesa Blvd.

On Tuesday, October 3, law enforcement officials executed search and arrest warrants at an apartment in the City of Kennedale. Working in collaboration, fugitive teams, intelligence agencies, and US Marshals apprehended Stephan D. Voorhees at the location. Simultaneously, Robbery Detectives and officers from the FBI Violent Crime Task Force served a search warrant at the premises.

Voorhees has been taken into custody and is currently being held at Tarrant County Jail. He has been formally charged with Aggravated Robbery Deadly Weapon.

Authorities have indicated that additional charges related to the offenses are anticipated as the investigation continues.
