Irving Police Officers arrested 51-year-old John David Evans on October 3, 2023, on charges of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony in Texas.
Evans was taken into custody and booked at the Irving Jail at 3:48 pm on Tuesday. The charge he faces carries a potential punishment of imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for any term between 2 to 20 years, as well as a fine not to exceed $10,000.
According to Evans' LinkedIn profile, he held the position of Senior Director of Procurement and Business Diversity at the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and served in the United States Marine Corps for over 10 years. NTTA has confirmed that Evans is an employee.
