On Monday night, October 2, emergency services responded to a fatal motorcycle collision on the southbound lanes of I35W near N. Tarrant Parkway.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident occurred at approximately 9:30 pm when two motorcyclists, traveling at a high rate of speed, collided with each other. One of the motorcyclists lost his life in the collision. He has been identified as 34-year-old Carlos Hernandez. Hernandez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The second motorcyclist involved in the accident sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. The Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS swiftly responded to the scene to provide assistance.
The crash remains under investigation.
