On October 2, 2023, at approximately 2:00pm, Arlington Fire crews responded to a single engine place crash at the intersection of Timberlake and Park Row, east of Texas 360.
The pilot was attempting an emergency landing, but the plane hit a chain link fence as it landed.
Arlington Police said there were two people on board, and they both exited the plane on their own as first responders were arriving at the scene. Fortunately, the pilot and passenger were not injured.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be investigating the incident.
