In an incident on September 29, 2023, at around 10:45 p.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting call in the 13500 block of Esperanza Rd, near Highway 75 in Far North Dallas. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unidentified suspect and a male victim were engaged in an argument when the suspect fired a weapon, striking the victim.
Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) responded to the scene, providing immediate medical assistance to the victim. Despite their efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the incident. The case is currently ongoing and will be documented under case number 175438-2023.
