A 19-year-old individual, identified as Jozel Santos Faustino, was arrested in Irving on September 27, 2023, and subsequently booked into the county jail at 5:06 pm.
According to records, officers stopped Faustino for an undisclosed reason and discovered a weapon inside his vehicle, along with a quantity of marijuana. Faustino now faces charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces).
Upon entering Faustino's information into their computer system, authorities found that he had several outstanding warrants issued by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office. These warrants are related to charges involving the possession and delivery of controlled substances, as well as possession of marijuana in varying quantities.
Jozel Santos Faustino remains in custody pending further legal proceedings. The case will be handled by the appropriate authorities in accordance with Texas state laws.
