On September 27, 2023, Irving Police arrested 47-year-old Dustin Ariel Ray, a resident of Grapevine. During his arrest, Ray resisted officers but was ultimately brought under control. He was booked into the Irving City Jail at 10:20 pm.
Ray had an open warrant from the Denton County Sheriff's Office for charges related to the possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear in court for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (FTA UUMV). In addition to these charges, he is currently facing new charges in the Irving City Jail, including manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and resisting arrest and search.
