TxDOT has revised its closure of eastbound SH 114, scheduled for overnight on Thursday, Sept. 28. Expect lane and road closures, with delays and heavy traffic affecting the surrounding highways, frontage roads and streets.
EASTBOUND SH 114
- The eastbound SH 114 main lanes will be fully closed from Loop 12 to Spur 482 from Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. to Friday, Sept. 29 at 5 a.m.
- The eastbound SH 114 frontage road will remain open and be used to detour traffic around the work area.
- Detour: Eastbound SH 114 main lane traffic will exit at Tom Braniff Drive and continue to the southbound Spur 482 frontage road.
Traffic will continue south on the Spur 482 frontage road to the eastbound SH 183 frontage road.
Traffic will continue on the eastbound SH 183 frontage road and merge onto SH 183/SH 114.
- Detour: Eastbound SH 114 main lane traffic will exit at Tom Braniff Drive and continue to the southbound Spur 482 frontage road.
Detours will be marked with signage. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and to slow down through construction zones.
