On the evening of September 22, 2023, at around 7:30 p.m., the Bedford Fire Department sprang into action after receiving reports of a potential house fire at a residence on Lincolnshire Circle, located in the Rollingwood Neighborhood near Hardwood.

Upon their arrival, firefighters were met with a daunting scene – a two-story home engulfed in flames and thick plumes of smoke billowing from the structure. To address the escalating situation, the Battalion Chief in command called for a second alarm.

In a commendable display of interagency cooperation, Bedford Police were joined by firefighting teams from neighboring cities, including Euless, Colleyville, Grapevine, Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Watauga Fire Departments. Approximately 45 firefighters responded to the scene and managed to bring the raging blaze under control within 30 minutes.

Remarkably, all occupants of the house managed to evacuate the premises unscathed. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries stemming from the incident. As of the time of this report, the exact cause of the fire remains undetermined.

The Bedford Fire Department extended its heartfelt gratitude to the neighboring fire departments for their invaluable assistance on the scene.
