The Dallas Police Department Introduces Spanish-Speaking Public Information Officer

The Dallas Police Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Officer Jennifer Loya Pryor as the Spanish-speaking Public Information Officer (PIO). Officer Pryor's primary role will be ensuring that the Spanish-speaking community in Dallas remains well-informed.

This appointment comes in response to the diverse demographics of Dallas, where, according to U.S. Census data, 43% of residents have Hispanic origins. Officer Pryor's expertise in both law enforcement and business management makes her a valuable addition to the department.

Officer Pryor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas and has furthered her education with a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategic Management.

She joined the Dallas Police Department in November 2021, initially serving as a Recruiter specializing in Social Media Marketing. Since December 2019, Officer Pryor has been dedicated to her role as a Police Officer within the department.

The Dallas Police Department is confident that Officer Jennifer Loya Pryor's proficiency in Spanish and her extensive background will greatly benefit the department's outreach efforts within the Spanish-speaking community, enhancing communication and collaboration between the department and its residents.
