A 19-year-old male, identified as William Ruano Martinez, was arrested in Irving on September 11, 2023, on drug-related charges. Mr. Martinez was taken into custody and subsequently booked into the Irving Jail at 1:27 am.
He is facing multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1-b, with a quantity of less than 1 gram, possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, possession of marijuana in an amount less than 2 ounces, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In addition to the drug charges, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) for the Dallas-Fort Worth area (DFW) has requested an immigration hold through ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
The legal proceedings related to these charges will continue as Mr. Martinez remains in custody.
