In a celebration of academic excellence, the Advanced Placement (AP) program has recognized high school students from across the nation for their exceptional achievements in college-level coursework. As the fall semester begins, forty scholars from the Irving Independent School District (ISD) have been bestowed with the prestigious title of "AP Scholar with Distinction."
This distinguished honor is awarded to students who have demonstrated remarkable prowess by obtaining an average score of at least 3.5 on all their AP exams taken in the previous school year. Additionally, these diligent scholars have scored 3 or higher on a minimum of five AP exams, showcasing their dedication to mastering rigorous academic challenges.
