On August 27, 2023, at 12:13 pm, Fort Worth police responded to a shooting at a house in the 3600 block of College Avenue in the Rosemont neighborhood.
Detectives say a group of suspects entered the home to conduct a robbery when they encountered a resident inside one of the bedrooms. At least one of the suspects shot the resident, who was found dead by police inside the home.
Fort Worth Police say that the suspects fled the scene in a light colored vehicle.
The victim has been identified as an adult man.
Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
